DM500HD sur DMM

En date du 17.02.2010, voici enfin l’annonce officielle du nouveau produit DM500 HD sur le site du fabriquant. Le dernier récepteur HDTV de Dream Multimédia.

En réalité, on n’apprend rien de plus par rapport à ce l’on découvrait lors de la présentation de la

DM500 HD à ANGA Cable 2009 (inclus sondage) et le comparatif inévitable avec la DM800 que l’on faisait déjà en mai 2009.
On a donc un doux mélange entre la DM500 et la DM800 :

• processeur plus puissant (400 MHz MIPS
  
  BCM7405)
• pas de disque-dur mais un connecteur eSATA pour un périphérique externe
• sortie HDMI (au lieu du DVI)
• pas de port USB et c’est bien le plus grand reproche que l’on puisse faire à ce nouveau modèle !
• télécommande habituelle mais en noir.

On peut donc s’attendre à : flasher via le réseau (ou miniUSB), une interface graphique Enigma2, la lecture de DivX et de MKV possible, un enregistrement sur un disque-dur externe (eSATA) ou via le réseau (Ethernet), le multiboot moins aisé, l’adjonction d’un lecteur de carte supplémentaire compromise, …
